Empire Stores, 1936
FEED, a lifestyle brand that gives back, chose the historic Empire Stores in Brooklyn to open it’s first brick & mortar location.
The 19th-century coffee warehouse was a perfect fit for FEED’s raw & authentic aesthetic (plus, what a view...).
Empire Stores, present day
Good coffee that does good (every purchase provides school meals around the world).
In addition to a retail space for bags and goods, the goal was to create a communal space for gathering, coffee & shopping—all whilst helping provide school meals with every transaction.
With the launch of the cafe, we needed premium coffee to serve. La Colombe Roasters provided our organic blend; and we developed bespoke packaging to reflect the brand & our special roast (hello, letterpress label & copper foil).
